Bonander has been described by both GAFFA and HYMN as one of Sweden's most underrated artists. Her music has been described as Kate Bush-influenced, dark and cinematic. In 2026 she released her second album and we stood there, where music and lyrics examine how ordinary people are shaped by political anxiety, collective exhaustion and the slow normalization of the unthinkable. Despite its seriousness, the album is not about capitulation — aggression and fragility coexist, and the music insists on resistance and action, even when fatigue is at its greatest.
